2nd Card-en-Ciel update adds further challenges and QoL improvements
A second major Card-en-Ciel update is available now for PC and consoles, bringing even more content for players to tackle in Inti Creates’s deck building roguelite.
The main focus of this update is Challenge Battle mode, introducing a series of puzzle encounters that will test your knowledge of the game. Each battle uses its own set deck, meaning that you wont have to rely on RNG to succeed.
Completion of Challenge Battles will unlock new Parallel Cards, variants of existing cards that can be toggled on to allow for new strategies in familiar dungeons.
Rounding out the second Card-en-Ciel update are a few new quality of life changes. For starters, you can now save and load your loadouts of Wild Cards (the cards you choose to take into each dungeon.) You’ll also be able to see which cards you haven’t already obtained via a new marking when they appear in a dungeon, though this feature only becomes available after finishing the main story.
