8BitDo NES and Commodore-inspired keyboards now available in European layouts

8BitDo’s line-up of retro mechanical keyboards is now available in a new set of Europe-friendly layouts.

The N keyboard (based on the NES) is now available with German, French, Spanish, and Nordic layouts. Meanwhile for the UK, there’s a Commodore 64-inspired offering for those that have some nostalgia for older computers.

All variants are priced at €99.99 / £85.99, coming with an additional “Dual Super Button Unit”. This is an extra set of two large buttons that can be used for macros or other shortcuts.

The 8BitDo® Retro Mechanical Keyboard is compatible with both PC Windows™ and Android™, and features a variety of connectivity options including Bluetooth®, Wireless 2.4GHz (via an included USB dongle) and wired USB for those who prefer a wired connection. Programmable buttons also feature on the keyboard, supporting n-key rollover, and they’re customisable via the 8BitDo Ultimate Software V2, available to download for free online.

8BitDo have ensured that each and every key press is met with extreme accuracy. An 87-button key bed, with top mounted styling and mechanical Kailh Box switches feature on the keyboard, with dye-sublimation PBT keycaps with MDA-like height. Known for their incredible accuracy and durability, the mechanical keys are ideal for gamers demanding the highest levels of precision.

The separate 8BitDo Dual Super Button Unit, which comes included with the keyboard, features two oversized action buttons which can also be programmed to activate user chosen commands or shortcuts.
