8BitDo Ultimate 2 now available in Europe
The 8BitDo Ultimate 2 wireless controller is now for sale across Europe, with distribution handled by Game Outlet Europe.
Not to be confused with the Ultimate 2C or Ultimate 2.4G, the Ultimate 2 sees 8BitDo making use of TMR analog sticks for the first time. These allow for high precision and durability, while using less power compared to Hall Effect.
On the top, you can change the triggers from analog to tactile buttons, useful for games where half inputs aren’t needed. The Ultimate 2 also retains the extra L4/R4 buttons from the Ultimate 2C, along with two more buttons on the back.
Despite the confusing naming schemes, 8BitDo has put out a number of solid controllers over the years. We took a look at the Ultimate 2C earlier this year and found it to be a great choice at a low price point.
