Akiba’s Trip: Hellbound & Debriefed launching summer 2021 in North America

Publisher XSEED Games has announced that Akiba’s Trip: Hellbound & Debriefed, a PS4, Switch and PC remaster of the very first Akiba’s Trip game, will be making its way to North America this summer.

A newly released English dubbed trailer for the remaster shows off its “strip action RPG” gameplay as you dive into Akihabara’s seedy underworld. It’s not much of a looker, thanks to the game’s PSP origins, but at least the gameplay should be solid.

Releasing alongside Akiba’s Trip: Hellbound & Debriefed’s standard version is a 10th Anniversary Edition for PS4 and Switch. It’ll contain an art book and two soundtrack CDs, costing $49.99 compared to the standard version’s $39.99 price-tag.

A European release hasn’t been revealed yet, though we’d bet on Marvelous Europe announcing a release for the region soon.

XSEED Games still has two more mystery titles planned for 2021, so expect even more announcements from them later this year.
