Amazon Japan Ship Packages in Promotional Final Fantasy XV Boxes
Amazon Japan are fueling the hype fire of FFXV by shipping some packages in special promotional Final Fantasy XV boxes. The boxes are designed to look like they have been ripped open and have copies of FFXV inside, and also promote Kingsglaive on the side. Take a look at some pictures recipients have put on Twitter:
They look pretty authentic! This ties in nicely with the fact that some people getting their hands on FFXV early. Although it might get your hopes up a little just to make you wait longer, I think this is a really funny marketing stunt. Besides, FFXV has been doing that long enough that a little longer surely won’t hurt.
It’s unclear how long this promotion will be running, but it’ll be funny if someone genuinely gets their FFXV order in one of the boxes. I’m also curious to see if these promotional boxes will become valuable themselves in the future.
Final Fantasy XV will be available on PS4 and XboxOne on 29th November. Probably.
