Animal Crossing New Horizons April Bug and Fish Guide

It’s a new month, and despite the Easter event making it a bit harder to catch what you need, there’s a bunch of new critters to be caught! We’ll give you a nice list of each new thing that you can get your hands on this month to submit to Blathers. Here’s our Animal Crossing New Horizons April Bug and Fish Guide!

As April rolls in, so does the Easter event, which means that sometimes you can fish up an egg instead of an actual, you know, fish. This will make hunting much more tiresome, but don’t worry, you have a whole month – and if you’re in the northern hemisphere, there’s not too many critters leaving at the end of it!

As usual we’ll be covering the Northern Hemisphere as that’s where the vast vast majority of our audience (and us) are based! Check out everything new you can catch in April below!

1. Surgeonfish 1,000 Bells – ocean / all day
2. Neon Tetra 500 Bells –  river / 9 am – 4 pm
3. Killifish 300 Bells – pond /all day
4. Clown Fish 650 Bells – ocean / all day
5. Butterfly Fish 1,000 Bells – ocean / all day
6. Zebra Turkeyfish 500 Bells – ocean / all day
7. Guppy 1,300 Bells – river /9 am – 4 pm
8. Snapping Turtle 5,000 Bells –  rivers / 9 pm -4 am
9. Sea Horse 1,000 Bells – ocean / all day
10. Crawfish 200 Bells – pond / all day

1. Long Locust 200 Bells – ground / 8 am – 7 pm
2. Giant Water Bug 2,000 Bells – ponds and rivers / 7 pm – 8 am
3. Raja Brooke’s Birdwing 2,500 Bells – flying / 8 am – 5 pm
4. Atlas Moth 3,000 Bells – on trees /  7 pm – 4 am
5. Madagascan Sunset Moth 2,500 Bells – flying / 8 am – 4 pm
6. Common Bluebottle 300 Bells – flying / 4 am – 7 pm
7. Darner Dragonfly 230 Bells – flying / 8 am – 7 pm
8. Jewel Beetle 2,400 Bells – on trees / all day
9. Agrias Butterfly 3,000 Bells – flying / 8 am – 5 pm
10. Flea 70 Bells – villagers / all day
