Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp Complete launching December 2024
While the regular version of Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp will end service soon, Nintendo has revealed that the one time purchase version is set to release only a week later.
Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp Complete is a paid version of the currently free-to-play mobile title, reworked to remove micro-transactions and most online features.
Launching on December 3, 2024 — only a week after the free version’s November 28 closure date — Pocket Camp Complete features content from across the game’s 7 years of service. This includes seasonal events, villagers, and over 10,000 items.
You can currently pre-register your interest in Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp Complete on Android and iOS. While the normal price is set to be $19.99, this will be reduced to $9.99 from launch until January 31, 2025. Furthermore, save data from the free-to-play version can be transferred to Complete until June 2nd, 2025.
With Nintendo making sure Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp stays alive in some form, there’s a chance that this will also happens for their other mobile titles if they end service. However, Dragalia Lost never received an offline version (though that was in partnership with Cygames), and Mario Kart Tour entered maintenance mode instead of switching to this offline format.
