Aniplex+ Celebrates Heaven’s Feel with Fate/stay night Excalibur Replica
The first of the Heaven’s Feel movies is out in cinemas in Japan! To celebrate, Aniplex+ has teamed up with Bandai’s PROPLICA to create a Fate/stay night Excalibur replica! It’s very impressive! There’s a cool video showing it off on the Aniplex+ website here.
The sword is 115cm in length, and comes with a display stand. LEDs allow it to glow gold, and it can play 2 pieces of background music, sound effects, and 3 voice clips of Saber. It’s pretty amazing!
The deluxe version includes an additional voice recording and an Invisible Air unit. The Invisible Air unit is stored in the hilt and can also light up! I never expected an official invisible sword prop, but now there is one and it’s good.
The standard version costs ¥23,000 (about £155), and the deluxe version costs ¥28,000 (about £185).
Both versions of the Fate/stay night Excalibur replica are available to pre-order until December 31st from Aniplex+ here, and are due to release in June 2018.
