Koei Tecmo have revealed some further details on the Atelier Firis synthesis features players will be able to make use of throughout their adventure! The game’s launch trailer was also released. Take a look below:
Synthesis is a key component to the Atelier series, and Atelier Firis is no exception! Throughout her travels, Firis will discover new materials and devise handy new recipes. In keeping with her nomadic lifestyle, Firis’s Atelier takes the form of the Atelier Tent, and allows her to synthesis wherever she pleases. The Atelier Tent can even be customised to feel like a second home, using a variety of keepsakes found throughout her adventures.
The synthesis system itself will be seeing some updates too, including the introduction of Mass Synthesis, which will allow Firis to create large objects such as bridges to overcome obstascles she encounters. Deciding what to build will not only change the appearance and accessibility of particular locations, but may even alter the story! Firis can also improve the effectiveness of items by using special Catalysts.
In addition to these features, Koei Tecmo also detailed two pre-order bonus costumes. The Resort Vacation costume will increase the chances of finding high quality synthesis materials, and the Wonderland costumes will decrease the time it takes for synthesis and travelling between landmarks. Pretty useful abilities! The costumes are, of course, also really cute.
