Atelier Lidy & Soeur Switch, PS4 and Vita Versions Confirmed
The latest issue of Famitsu has revealed details on Atelier Lidy & Souer, and it seems that this newest entry will shake the series up whilst maintaining what fan’s love about it. You’ll be able to pick between Atelier Lidy & Soeur Switch, PS4 and Vita versions when it releases.
The game will release this Winter in Japan, with a Western release presumably close to follow early next year, and it’ll follow the adventure of the titular twin sisters as they explore a mysterious world inside of a painting. If being inside a painting doesn’t sound crazy enough then get this – you can perform synthesis during battle! Gone are the days of “gosh darn, I wish I’d created enough healing items before this battle!” as now you can make them whenever you want. Well, assuming you’ve got the right materials.
Other than that, it’s been confirmed that 3D models have been upgraded, that there will be no protagonist selection and that Atelier Lidy & Soeur will likely wrap up the Mysterious trilogy. Because the game will primarily be set within paintings, Gust want to throw in a few easter eggs to other series’ and games of theirs, so keep an eye out!
