Atelier Mysterious Trilogy Deluxe Pack announced for PS4, Switch, and PC

Atelier Ryza 2 has only just launched in the West, but Koei Tecmo has already announced another set of releases for the franchise. Updated versions of Atelier Sophie, Atelier Firis, and Atelier Lydie & Suelle are all coming to PS4, Switch, and PC on April 22 as part of the Atelier Mysterious Trilogy Deluxe Pack.

What makes this different from the previous trilogy deluxe packs is the fact that two of the three release platforms already have access to every game in the collection. You can buy the Mysterious trilogy on PS4 and PC now, with Atelier Lydie & Suelle being the only one on Switch.

The announcement tweet mentions that Atelier Sophie DX will be introducing a new episode and costume to the game, so it seems like there might at least be more to these releases than the Arland and Dusk DX versions.

Revealing a Western release for the Atelier Mysterious Trilogy Deluxe Pack so soon also pretty much confirms that Ciel no Surge DX and Ar no Surge DX wont be getting English releases. They both launched late last month in Japan, and it’s a shame to see them skipped over in the West.

If you’ve just joined the franchise through Atelier Ryza or its sequel, consider checking out some of the previous games. It’s especially worth trying out the PS2-era releases, as they can be quite different from modern Atelier.
