Atelier Ryza 2: Lost Legends & the Secret Fairy prologue movie recaps events of first game

Publisher Koei Tecmo have released a prologue movie for Atelier Ryza 2: Lost Legends & the Secret Fairy, giving a spoilery recap of events that took place during the first game.

A good chunk of the movie goes over each of Atelier Ryza’s main characters, before briefly showing what they’re up to in the sequel. All party members from the original make an appearance in Atelier Ryza 2, though some of them wont be playable this time.

Atelier Ryza 2 is set to launch in Europe on January 29 2021, for Switch, PC via Steam, PS4, and digitally on PS5. All PS4 versions can be upgraded to PS5 for free. A ‘Premium Box’ edition is also available to order from the Koei Tecmo Europe store.
