Atelier Ryza series ships 1 million copies
Koei Tecmo has announced that Atelier Ryza and Atelier Ryza 2 have shipped one million copies combined.
This total presumably includes both shipped physical copies and digital sales worldwide across PS4, PS5, Switch, and PC.
Alongside the announcement was a brand new piece of art by Toridamono, the sub-series’ character designer and main artist.
To celebrate this milestone, a DLC costume will be released for both games at a later date. Two bonus costumes for the first game, Summer Adventure and Divertimento’s Embrace, will also be returning on March 31.
With sales at an all-time high for the Atelier franchise, a third game featuring Ryza as the main protagonist seems like a given — after all, Atelier Ryza 2 was already the first mainline game to feature the same protagonist due to her popularity.
