Blade Chimera release date now set for August
PLAYISM and WSS playground have announced that Blade Chimera, a cyberpunk metroidvania from the team behind Touhou Luna Nights, has been pushed back to August 2024 from its original Spring release window.
According to PLAYISM, this short delay will allow the development team to add further polish to Blade Chimera, including enhancements to the game’s sprite art.
The second trailer that released alongside this news includes more gameplay, showing off fast-paced combat and a number of large bosses. Using their demon-turned-weapon Lumina Sword, the player can gain access to new abilities both in combat and exploration.
To tide things over until the new release window, a demo for Blade Chimera is planned to release during Steam Next Fest in June.
