This demo includes both Blue Reflection: Second Light’s prologue and a separate “Story Demo” mode. The prologue features the very beginning of Ao’s journey through a mysterious dreamlike word, while the Story Demo includes the game’s crafting, exploration, and battle systems.
By completing the prologue, you’ll unlock a bunny head accessory and the “Preparing for the Unknown” fragment — fragments can be equipped to unlock skills and passive effects.
A number of free post-launch updates have also been announced, including an additional difficulty level and enhanced photo mode features.
Rice Digital editor Pete had an early hands-on with Blue Reflection: Second Light last month, stating that “we’re looking at a very special game here”.
