Blue Reflection: Second Light western release set for November 2021
Koei Tecmo has revealed that Blue Reflection: Second Light will arrive in the west on November 9 for PS4, Switch, and PC via Steam — only a few weeks after the game’s Japanese console launch.
Blue Reflection: Second Light stars amnesiac students Ao Hoshizaki, Kokoro Utsubo, and Yuki Kinjou, who find themselves in a mysterious floating academy surrounded by hordes of monsters.
Mel Kishida returns again to handle character designs, and the overall structure of the game seems to be similar to the first Blue Reflection. Some new systems have been added, such as academy customisation and item crafting, along with the revolutionary inclusion of hand holding.
Koei Tecmo has been busy this year, recently releasing the Ninja Gaiden Master Collection and Samurai Warriors 5, with Project Zero: Maiden of Black Water set to launch on new systems in October.
Developer Gust are probably working on projects other than Blue Reflection: Second Light as well, with Atelier Ryza 3 being almost guaranteed at this point.
