Bravely Default II heads to PC next week
Bravely Default II‘s Switch exclusivity is already ending, with Square Enix bringing the RPG to PC via Steam on September 2.
The game being ported to another platform isn’t too surprising — Octopath Traveller eventually released on PC and Xbox One — but it’s definitely a quicker turnaround than expected.
Until September 13, Bravely Default II will have a 10% discount on Steam, dropping it to (a still pricey) £44.99. Alternatively, Humble Choice subscribers can get a further £4.50 off by pre-ordering via the Humble store.
Compared to the original game, it definitely feels like Bravely Default II was overlooked by many Switch owners. Maybe this PC release (plus any other potential ports) will help it reach a larger playerbase.
