Breath of Death VII: The Beginning Reanimated gives classic Xbox 360 indie game a makeover this December
Shadow Layer Games has revealed that Breath of Death VII, a beloved Xbox Live Indie Game released more than a decade ago, is coming back as an enhanced release later this year.
Breath of Death VII: The Beginning Reanimated launches for PC via Steam on December 12, 2024 and brings a number of changes to Zeboyd Games’s comedy RPG. This includes completely redone visuals, new modes, and a soundtrack by HyperDuck SoundWorks.
For those that haven’t tried out the original version — the PC port is available for cheap alongside Cthulhu Saves the World — Breath of Death VII: The Beginning Reanimated sees players adventuring as a skeleton warrior to deal with monster that are threatening their undead society.
It’s mostly tongue-in-cheek, offering a light hearted story that can be beaten in under 10 hours. Perfect if you’re looking for something lighter before the deluge of lengthy RPGs starts again in 2025.
