Breath of Fire IV out now on GOG
Capcom’s Breath of Fire IV is now available on GOG as part of the latter’s Preservation Program.
Originally released in 2000 for the PS1 (and a few years later on PC), Breath of Fire IV has been a hard game to get a hold of officially for a while now. Furthermore, the existing PC version had a number of compatibility issues on modern PCs.
The GOG release includes compatibility on Windows 10 and 11, along with a number of improvements such as better mouse and keyboard support and new rendering options.
Breath of Fire IV was one of the highest games on GOG’s Dreamlist, where people can vote for games they’d like to see available on modern PCs DRM-free. Other notable entries that have been highlighted by GOG Staff include Silent Hill and Digimon World.
