It probably surprises no one at this point, but we love a bit of otome here at Rice Digital, and so the Switch has been a bit of a godsend, what with the sheer amount coming to it. Now we have yet another incoming with Brothers Conflict: Precious Baby.
This title is an otome visual novel collection that’s coming to Switch on August 29th in Japan. It will cost 6,800 yen for the standard edition and 8,800 yen for the limited edition. First-print copies will include a booklet, and the limited edition will include a booklet and two clear bookmarks.
Brothers Conflict: Precious Baby includes both Brothers Conflict: Passion Pink and Brothers Conflict: Brilliant Blue, which were originally released for PSP. This collection of the two was first released for PS Vita in April 2016.
After her father remarried, the protagonist adopts the new surname “Asahina” and moves into an apartment complex with her new band of brothers. However, the protagonist coming into what was once a men-only household causes some discord in the previously peaceful home.
The brothers, who eventually develop feelings for the protagonist, become rivals…This is the start of a taboo brothers love story that occurs under the same roof. How will it turn out in the end…?
We’re now really wanting this to come across to the West. But what do you think? Would you pick up the Brothers Conflict collection if it came West? Let us know in the comments, or on Facebook and Twitter, and check back for more coverage of otome and other Japanese titles.
