Bubble Bobble 4 Friends will release for PC via Steam on September 30, developer Taito has announced.

Bubble Bobble 4 Friends: The Baron’s Workshop will include everything from the PS4 and Switch versions, plus the titular Baron’s Workshop. This mode allows players to create their own levels and share them through the Steam Workshop.

4 Friends offers up classic arcade-style gameplay (the original game is also included in this release), with the addition of up to 4-player co-op. Post-launch updates ended up adding a significant amount of content to the game, including 100 difficult stages for experienced players.

The Steam release is priced at £30.99 / €39.99 / $39.99, with a 15% discount for one week after launch. Due to The Baron’s Workshop making use of the Steam Workshop, it seems unlikely that this mode will come to the console versions.
