Buried Stars coming to PC via Steam

LINE Games has announced that Buried Stars will be getting a global PC release via Steam.

Buried Stars released for PS4 and Switch in the west last year, with South Korea surprisingly getting a Vita version too. The game features a group of characters that become trapped during a reality TV show, with the situation turning into a murder mystery when a body is discovered.

While there’s currently no release date, LINE Games is planning to announce one “very soon”. The Steam page also lists the game’s soundtrack as DLC, which will include 26 songs.

Lilia took a look at Buried Stars earlier this year, praising it for its “layered characters” and “clever use of social media”.

This upcoming PC port should allow the game to reach a wider audience, especially since the initial console launch seems to have been overlooked by a lot of visual novel fans (possibly due to a lack of advertising and the relatively high asking price).
