Chrono Cross: The Radical Dreamers Edition revealed

Square Enix has announced Chrono Cross: The Radical Dreamers Edition, a classic collection launching for PS4, Switch, Xbox One, and PC via Steam on April 7, 2022.

Chrono Cross: The Radical Dreamers Edition combines a remastered version of the PS1 RPG and Radical Dreamers: Le Trésor Interdit, a text-based game originally released for the Super Famicom via Satellaview.

This the first time Chrono Cross has been made available in Europe, with Radical Dreamers having only released in Japan (though a fan translation was finished back in 2003) .

Compared to the original, Chrono Cross: The Radical Dreamers Edition features updated visuals — including improved 3D models and new artwork — along with rearranged music and optional battle-related cheats.

A remaster had been rumoured for a long time (Chrono Cross even crossed over with mobile RPG Another Eden late last year) so it’s nice to finally see this version be officially announced.
