Classic JRPG Earthbound Now Available on Wii U Virtual Console!

When talking about the best JRPGS of all time, you will most likely see Earthbound at the top of many people’s lists. However, it was never released in Europe, making importing the only option. This is why many JRPG fans were excited when Nintendo announced that they would be releasing Earthbound on the Wii U Virtual Console.

Well, the the time is finally here! Earthbound is now available on both North American and European Wii U’s. At $9.99/€9,99/£6.99 it’s more expensive than other VC releases, but considering that the original cartridges can go for hundreds of dollars it’s not too bad of a deal. Make sure to pick this up if you own a Wii U, you wont regret it!

Nintendo also released a mini Nintendo Direct, which includes information about Earthbound, as well as other upcoming 3DS and Wii U releases (The Wonderful 101 still looks amazing).
