Clockwork Aquario gets first teaser trailer

Clockwork Aquario, an unreleased arcade platformer by the now defunct developer Westone Bit Entertainment, has received its first teaser trailer.

Having never made its way to arcades, despite being mostly complete, the Switch and PS4 versions of Clockwork Aquario will mark the game’s first release on any format.

ININ Games and Strictly Limited Games will be releasing the game both physically and digitally in the second quarter of 2021. Pre-orders for all three physical editions are available now via the Strictly Limited Games store, though the Limited Edition has already sold out on Switch.

It’s great to see Clockwork Aquario finally get its chance to shine, nearly 30 years after it was originally planned for arcades. Preservation of older and previously unreleased games is always welcome, even if certain companies don’t seem to agree.
