Code Vein II announced, arrives 2026
Bandai Namco has announced Code Vein II, a follow-up to the 2019 soulslike that adds in a dash of time travel.
Heading to PS5, Xbox Series, and PC via Steam during 2026, Code Vein II sees the last remnants of humanity fighting against a new enemy, the Luna Rapacis. With Revenants — humans that returned from death with unnatural abilities — turning into creatures known as Horrors, one Revenant Hunter must travel into the past and rewrite a better future.
Much of the original game is still here, including using charged attacks to drain the blood of enemies for your own gain. You can also partner up with AI allies, learning more about them during your journey.
Bandai Namco is set to show off more about Code Vein II in the lead-up to launch. A closed beta for the original game was available for a few days ahead of release, so hopefully something similar will happen for the sequel.
