Collection of Mana Trademarked In Japan by Square-Enix

In another in a sequence of exciting trademarks filed by Square-Enix, it has now been revealed that the company have now trademarked the name Collection of Mana in Japan, adding more fuel to the fire of a possible localisation of the collection of the beloved titles.

This is following the recent trademarks of Final Fantasy Adventure and Secret of Mana in the United States, Canada, and Europe. As we said before, these form the first and second entries in the Seiken Densetsu Collection in Japan. As the West never received Seiken Densetsu 3, and this trademark sounds like a Western title, this could mean a Western release of the collection.

Our only gripe with this is that it seems to have quashed the possibility (for now, at least) that these trademark filings were gearing up for a new Mana series title, but the possibility of being able to play the previously unavailable third title in the series is a pretty good salve for that wound.

We really love the Japanese artwork for the Collection
