Cooler Comes to Dragon Ball FighterZ in September

After his reveal at EVO 2018, Cooler is now set to release as the next Dragon Ball FighterZ DLC character at the end of September. Thank you to Ryokutya2089 for revealing this information, as well as some info on his unique special attacks.

Cooler is the second non-canon character to be introduced to Dragon Ball FighterZ after Broly, but he was made canon with the upcoming movie, Dragon Ball Super: Broly. Could we see Cooler returning to Dragon Ball, but this time as a canon character?

His special movies are Death Fall, which works like Frieza’s Nova Strike, and Death Crusher, which throws the opponent into the wall or floor. His level three is Atomic Super Nova, and this one is interesting as it’s a command grab when used mid-air, but a striking attack when used on the ground.

Cooler releases as one of the last two DLC characters, as part of the game’s first season pass, in late September. If leaks are to be believed, and they have been accurate so far, then Dragon Ball Super‘s Android 17 will be the final DLC character. I don’t think it’ll be too long until Bandai Namco and Arc System Works announce a second season pass, either!
