Crunchyroll to Stream Black Clover Anime
Crunchyroll has announced that they’ll be streaming the Black Clover anime, which is based on a manga that began in 2015, later this October. This is Yuuki Tabata’s most popular work having only worked on Hungry Joker in the past, which lasted a brief three volumes.
Studio Pierrot are animating the series, and you’ll likely know them from the Naruto, Boruto and Tokyo Ghoul series’.
Black Clover follows two friends, Asta and Yuno, who both have the same goal of becoming the next Emperor Magus. Yuno excels at magic whilst Asta struggles to use it at all, but it soon comes to light that Asta also wields incredible power. It’s a shounen series, so expect plenty of battles!
