CyberConnect 2 tease three new titles – FUGA, Tokyo Ogre Gate & Cecile

Developer CyberConnect 2, probably best known for their work on Bandai Namco’s Naruto games as well as the AMAZING Azura’s Wrath, have announced they are working on three new IP projects of their very own, which, given their track record of exceptional quality, is something to be celebrated.

There are three games that are slated for release on PS4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch for 2019, collectively known as ‘The Trilogy of vengeance’ – FUGA, Tokyo Ogre Gate and Cecile. The trailer that they unveiled on the 18th of July released with out much in the way of fanfare – which is a shame as this is a developer that we really rate and we’re betting all three games will turn out to be something special.

Check out the trailer below:

As you can see, at the moment all three are very much in development, though we can surely expect more concrete detail towards the end of the year.

FUGA has the least amount of discernible detail, though the artwork looks lovely, and seems to revolve around cute animals battling it out in massive tanks, could this be some kind of RPG?

Tokyo Ogre Gate is my favourite of the three, with some very early testbed gameplay, showing lighting fast rooftop ninja-action. I’ll be putting this one on my watchlist for sure.

Lastly, Cecile only showed an umbrella wielding goth-maiden in a mo-cap studio for what, we can only assume, will be an action title of some sort.

We’ll update again as soon as we hear anything further on these three very intriguing titles from the The Trilogy of Vengeance.

Spread the love!
