Danganronpa 2: Goodbye Despair Announced for the West
Just as Danganronpa Trigger Happy Havoc was released in the West we received news about the localization of its sequel, Danganronpa 2: Goodbye Despair. It is schedualed for release this fall in both US and Europe.
Danganronpa 2 has a similar set up to the original. A group of students is imprisoned and the only way to escape is by killing someone and being let go. The catch is if they are found guilty they are executed during the class trial. This time around you play as a new character, Hajime Hinata, who like everyone else has is not able to remember how he got there. Now the game features a new female bunny equivalent of Monokuma, called Usami.
Gone are the clean sterile environment void of any sunlight and in is a beautiful uninhabited tropical island filled with its own deadly mysteries islands mysteries. It is said that the game has improved almost everything from the original. Now the game features better minigames, as well as multiple endings, allowing for a more unpredictable story.
