Dark Souls Added to the Orchestral Memories Lineup
Bandai Namco have announced that Dark Souls will be joining the range of games in the Orchestral Memories symphonic concert lineup. Other series in the concerts are the Tales of games, Soul Calibur, Little Nightmares, God Eater, and Tekken, among others. You can check out the announcement trailer below:
The Orchestral Memories concert series brings to life the iconic music of composers Motoi Sakuraba and Go Shiina in performance by a symphonic orchestra. The Dark Souls pieces are ‘Gwyn, Lord of Cinder’ from Dark Souls, ‘Sir Alonne’ from Dark Souls II, and the main theme of Dark Souls III which will be performed for an audience for the first time.
There’s a lot of these types of orchestral concerts popping up lately, so it’s a really good time for fans of game music! It’s really nice to see Bandai Namco’s lineup is so expansive too.
Tickets are available from the La Fée Sauvage website. There are also 150 VIP tickets available, which include a meet & greet with the composers for signing sessions and photo shoots.
The first of the Orchestral Memories concerts will take place on Feburary 4th in Salle Pleyel in Paris.
