Dark Souls Remastered Network Test Takes Place Soon
From Software has announced that a Dark Souls Remastered network test will take place on PS4 and Xbox One on 11th-12th May. The Switch version of the game has been delayed until later this Summer, along with the network test for that platform.
One of Dark Souls Remastered‘s biggest additions is a bunch of changes to its online mode including increasing the number of online players from four to six, and adding an arena mode for up to six players. This network test will stress test the servers so that From Software can ensure they’re working properly in time for its worldwide release on 25th May.
This network test is exclusive will last a few hours each day (5PM – 11PM BST), with the time-frame being the same on both the 11th and 12th May.
