Dead or Alive 5: Last Round Dated in EU
Announced on their official twitter page, Koei Tecmo has finally given us a date for the upcoming Dead or Alive 5: Last Round their famous, jiggly fighting game. The title will be out on the 20th February 2015 and will not only add a variety of updates, but will also bring the series for the first time to the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
Dead or Alive 5: Last Round will have two new fighters totaling at 34 fighters. Two classic stages are making a comeback in this version, Danger Zone the famous arena featured in the majority of DoA titles and Crimson which was last seen on the original Xbox in Dead or Alive 2 Ultimate. Another addition in Last Round is a variety of new costumes, accessories and hairstyles, which are the bread and butter of this franchise.
Like its PlayStation 3 counterpart you will be able to download a starter version, titled Dead Or Alive 5: Last Round Core Fighters, where you can play as Kasumi, Ayane, Ryu Hayabusa and Hayate for free. All other characters will have to be bought seperatly for the price of 3.99 Euros. Fans will be delighted to know that all the paid DLC characters can be carried on to the new version on their respective platform.
Dead or Alive 5: Last Round is confirmed to be in 1080p 60fps on both the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
