Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster announced, seemingly more of a remake

Capcom has revealed Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster via a teaser trailer, though it seems to hint at this being more than a minor port.

Despite the name, this looks to be a complete remake of the game (at least visually), making use of the RE Engine. Protagonist Frank West also has a new voice actor, replacing Terence Rotolo.

The trailer doesn’t show much, mostly taking place during Dead Rising’s opening cinematic. However, Capcom has also announced a new stream for July 1, 2024 which will include new information on Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster.
