Rotoscoped interactive story Dear me, I was… heads to the original Switch
Arc System Works has announced that Dear me, I was… will head to the original Switch some time in the future. Launching for Switch 2 back in July, Dear me, I was… is a short interactive story that makes use of watercolour rotoscoped visuals with zero dialogue.
It’s cheap and can be beaten in under an hour, with my review of the Switch 2 version calling it “a charming narrative experience”. I also noted how odd it was to lock the game to that system, when it’s mostly just 2D images that could run on most platforms.
While it’s nice to see Dear me, I was… come to the original Switch, I’d also like to see more ports later down the line (at least PC if nothing else.)
