Death Stranding 2: On the Beach launches June 26

Hideo Kojima next wild ride is set to arrive in a few months, with Death Stranding 2: On the Beach hitting PS5 worldwide on June 26, 2025.

Revealed during a panel at South by Southwest film festival, Death Stranding 2: On the Beach looks to be taking things up a level after the (relatively) subdued delivery gameplay of the first game. There are more vehicles, enemies, strange characters, and locations to stumble through. A final section of the pre-order trailer even shows off Neil looking like a certain other Kojima-created character.

As with most modern AAA releases, Death Stranding 2: On the Beach is set to get a number of editions. Alongside digital and physical standard editions, there’s a Digital Deluxe Edition (including extra cosmetics and 2 day early access) and a more extensive physical Collector’s Edition.

The Collector’s Edition features a 16-inch Magellan Man statue, Dollman figurine, art cards, and a letter from Kojima. It’ll be available for pre-order via PlayStation directly, along with “select retailers worldwide.“
