Death Stranding Director’s Cut coming to PC spring 2022

505 Games has announced that it will bring Death Stranding Director’s Cut to PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store during spring 2022.

The Director’s Cut version of Death Stranding launched for PS5 last year, bringing enhanced visuals and extra gameplay content. While the console release featured an upgrade path from PS4 to current gen, no PC equivalent has been announced at this time — 505 Games has since stated that more info regarding this is coming later this month.

An additional feature in the PC version is support for Intel’s Xe Super Sampling. This should allow for both better graphics and performance on compatible hardware.

Ahead of the Director’s Cut PS5 launch last year, Kojima Productions revealed that the game had sold over 5 million units across PS4 and PC.
