Yes! It’s coming out so soon! Detective Pikachu: Birth of a New Duo is coming out 3rd February in Japan. It’s a detective game starring a gruff, talking Pikachu. Who better to solve a case with?

It’s only a small download title, costing about 1,500 (just under £10). But who knows, maybe we’ll see more of Detective Pikachu if it sells well enough!
As the title hints that this game is only a “birth”, maybe more Detective Pikachu is already being considered? There hasn’t been any information about the game heading west yet. But if it doesn’t I will probably smash something.
There have been quite a few Pokemon spin-offs over the years, some more interesting than others. Out of all of them, this is probably the greatest I’ve seen so far. What are your favourites?
