Capcom took to the Microsoft stage at E3 2018 to announce Devil May Cry 5, a true sequel to Devil May Cry 4 which released ten years ago. The stylish combat is still there, Nero and Dante are both present – although they look fairly different – and Devil May Cry is back, baby!
Check out the trailer below!
Yup, that is Nero! Gone is the serious and polite man in Devil May Cry 4, replaced by someone who’s very Dante-like. It’ll take me a little to get used to, especially as I loved Nero in 4, but it still looks very much like a Devil May Cry game and I’m interested in seeing how he’s changed so greatly. Maybe it’s linked to his demon arm being removed? It’s clear Capcom are passionate about it, so I’m putting my faith in them to deliver.
Devil May Cry 5 will release at some point on PS4 and Xbox One, and boy am I excited!
