Digimon World: Next 0rder Coming to Japan In March

While we in the west are super happy with the recently released Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth, Japan is already preparing for the next installment in the series. Digimon World: Next 0rder is an upcoming title by Bandai Namco, coming exclusively to the Vita.

The gameplay will be very similar to Digimon World Re:Digitize, a title which never made its way outside of Japan. While your Digimon can battle without your input, your help is necessary to overcome some of the tougher foes. You can give your Digimon support items or even order them with specific commands. However, you must keep an eye on how disciplined they are if you want to be able to make use of them.

You will now be able to take care of two Digimon at the same time, giving you even more options. After battles you can praise or scold your Digimon depending on how they did in the battle.

Fans of the series will be glad to hear that both the aggressive Shoutmon and mischievous Gumdramon will be making their way to the game from Digimon Xros Wars.

The starting town is known as Frontier and it will have a variety of districts including the central district, commercial district, agriculture district, entertainment district, research district and different dimension district.

The game will also feature multiplayer battles. You will be able to download data from other players and use the partners you trained with to battle.

Digimon World: Next 0rder is coming to Vita in Japan on March 17. While there is no word on a western release, Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth took a full year to make its way outside of Japan if it’s anything to go by.
