Disgaea RPG coming to PC

Boltrend Games has announced that it’s bringing mobile gacha title Disgaea RPG to PC via Steam. The port currently has a December 2021 to Q1 2022 release window, with the game entering early access before its full launch.

According to the Steam page, early access will last roughly one to two months. Early access is an odd choice for Disgaea RPG, considering that the game is already out on mobile. This also makes statements like “We’re going to add more content and optimize translations during Early Access” strange, since any text should just mirror the existing release.

At the very least, it does show that Boltrend plans to support the game into 2022. Now we have to see if this will also be the case with their localisation of Fantasy Life Online, a game that is ending service in Japan next month.
