Dissidia Final Fantasy Makes Its way to Arcades

Square Enix has announced that they’ll be bringing a new Dissidia to Japanese arcades in the form of Dissidia Final Fantasy.
 
As someone who’s a big fan of the PSP games featuring various Final Fantasy characters battling it out on a fully 3D field, I’m excited to see a new one finally come to fruition. There’s a good chance it’ll make its way to consoles at some point too, although it could be on Vita, PS3, PS4 or all.
 

 
It’s taken a departure from the series’ 1v1 roots, opting for 3v3 battles. In the trailer above Lightning, Cloud, Terra, The Warrior of Light, The Onion Knight and Y’Shtola are shown off, with Y’Shtola being new to Dissidia and originally from MMO Final Fantasy XIV.
 
Square Enix hasn’t shown much of Dissidia Final Fantasy yet but it’s safe to assume we’ll be seeing some of the XV and Type-0 cast in there, and hopefully they reveal more information shortly.
