Dragon Quest VII and VIII heading West on 3DS
Dragon Quest VII and VIII are finally heading West on 3DS courtesy of Nintendo and Square Enix! People have clamoured for these titles for years, and Nintendo are delivering!
Both games are heading to the 3DS early next year in both Europe and North America. The series is huge in Japan but has had little fanfare in Western regions, so it’s nice to see it making a return with Dragon Quest Heroes and these localised titles. Akira Toriyama, the artist and creator behind Dragonball Z, has been designing characters for it since it’s humble beginnings.
Nintendo has a lot lined up for early 2016 where JRPG’s are concerned with both of these titles, Bravely Second: End Layer and Mario & Luigi: Paper Jam all releasing soon.
I’ve been gaming since a very young age and although I can’t remember my very first game, I fondly remember enjoying Sonic the Hedgehog 2 and being giddy with joy once I beat Dr. Robotnik. My all-time favourite game is a tie between Persona 4 Golden and Final Fantasy IX. As you may have noticed, I have a love for JRPG’s although I dabble in all genres.
