Dragon Quest VIII Release Date Confirmed for EU and NA
Nintendo has announced that Dragon Quest VIII: Journey of the Cursed King will release exclusively on 3DS on 20th January across both Europe and North America. This is perhaps the most revered Dragon Quest title yet, and the remake will finally be heading West for the first time.
Dragon Quest VIII boasts new content now found in the original including many more side-quests and two new playable characters, and StreetPass features where you can take photos and earn in-game items.
By the time Dragon Quest VIII releases, maybe we’ll have finally finished Dragon Quest VII! January is looking to be absolutely packed for fans of Japanese games, and I’m excited for it!
I’ve been gaming since a very young age and although I can’t remember my very first game, I fondly remember enjoying Sonic the Hedgehog 2 and being giddy with joy once I beat Dr. Robotnik. My all-time favourite game is a tie between Persona 4 Golden and Final Fantasy IX. As you may have noticed, I have a love for JRPG’s although I dabble in all genres.
