El Shaddai arrives on PC in April
A PC Steam release for the cult classic El Shaddai: Ascension of the Metatron was announced by producer Sawaki Takeyasu on Twitter last year. Now, developer Crim has revealed that this version is not far off, arriving mid-April=.
It’s an interesting release window, as April 28 2021 marks the 10 year anniversary of El Shaddai’s original release on Xbox 360 and PS3 in Japan.
A few screenshots have been shared ahead of the game’s PC release, showcasing its vibrant areas. It was already a great looking title back in the 360/PS3 era, with an art style that easily holds up today.
There’s still no Steam page currently, meaning that you can’t wishlist or potentially pre-order El Shaddai: Ascension of the Metatron right now. Considering how close it is to releasing on PC (assuming there are no delays), a page for the game should appear soon.
