Dark fantasy metroidvania Ender Lilies: Quietus of the Knights announced, releasing Winter 2020

2020 may not have been a good time for gaming — or most things really — but even with the constant delays and development problems facing the medium, some titles are still being released this year.

Publisher Binary Haze Interactive announced today that they would be releasing Ender Lilies: Quietus of the Knights, a metroidvania set in a devastated world, this Winter.

Mili, the music group behind the Goblin Slayer anime opening, will handle the game’s “haunting” music.

The announcement trailer sets up Ender Lilies’ story, with a couple of brief glimpses at its gameplay. Not much to go on, but what is shown looks interesting. Definitely one to watch out for when it launches on PC and consoles this Winter.

An overview of Ender Lilies via Binary Haze Interactive:

Lily, the last surviving priestess in a land devastated by an endless and oppressive rain turning people undead, awakens in a church with no memory of recent events. As she explores beyond the relative safety of the sanctuary, Lily will summon the spirits of purified undead to protect her on a journey to find the source of the rain twisting her home into a haunted shadow of itself.
