EU and NA date for Disgaea D2: A Brighter Darkness
NIS finally announced the release dates for the next installment of their popular Disgaea franchise, Disgaea D2: A Brighter Darkness. With a surprising twist, the European version will launch a few weeks before the North American version.
Disgaea D2: A Brighter Darkness is scheduled to be released on this year September 27 in Europe and October 8 in North America. The game was released in Japan in March this year, so we are really quickly getting it to other the regions.
Disgaea D2 or Dimensions 2 is a proper sequel of the original Disgaea: Hour of Darkness, which came out for the PS2 and later for the PSP and Nintendo DS. Like in its original the focus here is on the the character we have all grown to love and respect. Made for the 20th anniversary of Nippon Ichi Software this game is shaping up to be the greatest Disgaea game yet, containing all the elements you are used to.
The game is already up for sale on the official NIS site. There are a couple of limited editions, the biggest one comes with the art book, two soundtrack disks, 2 petite figures, five collectors art cards and an additional strategy guide that didn’t come with the Japanese version of the game.
