EVE Burst Error R Coming to Vita and PC

C’s Ware is a company that released some great visual novel adventure games back in the 90s. They made a variety of games, some of which even made their way to the western shores such as EVE Burst Error, Divi-Dead, The Maid’s Story and Amy’s Fantasies.

EVE Burst Error is one of C’s Wares most popular titles. The game has two playable protagonists, one male and one female, and the player can swap between these two at any time. Both Kojiroh and Marina are out to solve their own cases, but their paths cross multiple times throughout the story. The game has some amazing looking artwork and cutscenes bound to appeal to any fan of 90s animation.

The game was originally released in 1995 as an adult title for the PC-98 and later for the Sega Saturn, PlayStation 2 and twice on PC. In 2012 MangaGamer released the all ages version of the title.

EVE Burst Error R will be a remake for PC and Vita. It will feature updated graphics, a text skip option, digitally remastered CGs and even a new event CG drawn by character designer Nao Tajima.

Two of C’s developers also helped with work on ELF’s “YU-NO: A girl who chants love at the bound of this world”, which by some is among the best visual novels out there. Like EVE Burst Error, YU-NO will also be getting a remake. It will be published by Sega and developed by 5pb and MAGES. The game is slated for a release on February 18 next year on the PlayStation 4 and Vita.
