Following on from the news yesterday that our friends PQube revealed that they are bringing KILL la KILL – IF to MCM London Comic Con next month, they have this morning surprise revealed that the game will contain an exclusive form of Junketsu for Satsuki Kiryuin that has been created just for the game!
PQube, Arc System Works and Studio TRIGGER have revealed a first look at this special form of Junketsu (image below), which switches the colour theme and makes dark blue the dominant part of the stunning outfit, with white as the off colour. In exchange, the synchronisation with this form of Junketsu changes Satsuki’s hair colour to white, impressively matching the rest of the Kiryuin family’s God Robe.
This new information joins the previous reveals of the upcoming DLC fighters being added to the game and, of course, the release dates of the game in the West – July 25th 2019 for PC/Steam and July 26th 2019 for Playstation 4 and Nintendo Switch. Also, PQube have previously revealed a Limited Edition for Europe, which will have 1500 copies available in Europe across selected retailers!
Limited Edition contains:
- Mr. Sushio’s main artwork for Limited Edition.
- Original Artbook
- Original Soundtrack
- Mak-Roquette Squeezie
We love this new creation, with the palette swap of the colours really looking striking. But what do you think? Do you prefer this look for Junketsu? Will you be picking up KILL la KILL – IF? Let us know in the comments, or on Facebook and Twitter, and check back for more coverage of this and other Japanese titles.
KILL la KILL – IF will release on July 26th on PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch in Europe, and on July 25th on PC/Steam.
